O.W.L watch review

Being a bit of a fashion addict I LOVE finding new brands and new products! I think that accessories are something that can make an outfit and a look, when put together well this can make you feel a million dollars! Watches are something that I have always loved and I love to see what new trends are about and what's hot. At the moment there are some amazing styles on offer and new ideas and techniques mean that the days of boggy basic watches are gone and now they are a real statement and fashion piece!

I stumbled across new O.W.L watches and have fallen in love with the style and quality of the range all designed in Great Britain. The watches are super delicate and feminine and are inspired by British heritage. Searching for the perfect watch is like searching for the perfect pair of jeans - you know that its an investment piece that you will wear over and over again, and when you find it you wonder what you did without it!! O.W.L watches come in these beautiful luggage style boxes with clasp fastening. What I love about this is that if feels very British and you know that this is a brand that is staying true to its routes! The box is also a perfect size to store your watch or other jewellery on your dressing table which is great!

I have the Kensington rose gold watch with black leather bound links. The watch is a lovely soft rose gold colour which looks so luxurious and compliments the black perfectly. The face of the watch has 3 dials and the delicate O.W.L branding along with the silver highlight around the edge. All thyles in the collection are super feminine and have soft curves and pretty details to add a touch of elegance.  This is such an unusual style and I love that its so unique and different. It comes in a variety of colours and throughout the O.W.L range there are loads of styles to choose from and looking at the collection there is something for everyone! All styles are great to dress up with workwear or evening wear and also a perfect hint of glam for dressing down days. I love to wear this with a tailored black dress and jacket for work and with an oversized top, rose gold necklace and jeans for the weekend.

Pricing ranges from £60 to £100 so this is not fast fashion but compared to many of the 'designer' watches in the market, these are very affordable! I feel that same about watches as I do about handbags, if its something your going to wear everyday and its going to go with everything then its worth spending the money on.

O.W.L watches are available at ASOS, Topshop online and Debenhams and I can't wait to see whats next for the brand! Also visit online at

I will be giving away this gorgeous O.W.L bracelet! The competition will run on twitter until 24th Jan. All details will be on @shelikesshoes twitter to find out how to win! Good Luck!

Products I've used up

Finishing off a product and scraping the last out of the pot is the sign of a great buy! Here's a few of my top pics :

Moroccan argan oil
This is possibly the best money you can spend on your hair at around £6 from Boot. The bottle is small but lasts for ever! Use a small amount on the ends of your hair when damp or dry and feel the results!

Benefit Boiing concealer
This has been a staple for a while, I usually use a brush to put this on then blend in with my hands. Very thick so good coverage and easy to work with!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Another staple and well under £5 this is a great buy! Would defo recomend whether your on a budget or not, this is as good as all the hype online.

Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof Mascara
Another product with a lot of hype but again, this is worth every penny ! I think the brush makes all the difference but the formula is also great and lasts all day!

Rimmell Stay Matte Powder
I've used this for a while and will continue to re purchase. Great on all skin types and does what it says on the tin, at around £4 very good value!
